Microsoft Innovative Educator Training
- Facilitators/trainers who want to train educators and school leaders on the effective use of technology in teaching and learning are required to complete the Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer Academy Learning Path on the Microsoft Educator Centre.
- The MIE Trainer learning path requires that trainers complete 11 in-depth courses about the many Microsoft technologies that support student-centered learning. The courses focus on authentic problem solving and projects while aligning to 21st Century Skills and the National Curriculum Statement principles and objectives.
- Each course requires the participant to complete an assessment and achieve a minimum of 80%. This ensures a high level of competency and knowledge of Microsoft education technologies.
- To stay certified, trainers are required to train 100 educators per year on using technology for teaching and learning. Trainers must record each session in the Microsoft Training Tracker, which enables them to generate achievement codes for course participants to redeem on the Microsoft Educator Centre. Microsoft has a very high commitment level. Trainers need to continue exploring new Microsoft products, services, and technologies on an ongoing basis.
MIE Master Trainer
- Master Trainers are required to train a minimum of 400 educators per year on using technology in teaching and learning, record each session in the Microsoft Training Tracker, provide summaries of course evaluations, and continue exploring Microsoft products, services, and technologies.
- MIE Master Trainers are also qualified to train companies in their digital transformation journeys.
Microsoft Certified Educator
- The Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) is an international Microsoft certification. It validates that educators have the global, digital, transformation competencies needed to provide rich, custom, and relevant learning experiences.
We at NBConsult Learning have all of these competencies in our training team.
